The Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City is one of the newest locations for an NBA franchise, with the Seattle Supersonics moving there in 2008 to assume the current name. Since moving to Oklahoma, the team has enjoyed years of competitiveness, with multiple post-season appearances and making the NBA Finals in 2012.

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s home Chesapeake Energy Arena sits in downtown Oklahoma City and provides a fantastic starting from which to explore this thriving city famed for its cowboy culture.
